#gender preference

It’s come to my attention, that quite a few people are unsure of how to exactly use these pronouns and I’d like to explain! Xe / Xem / Xir is a set of Gender Neutral pronouns.

Im honestly fine with any other pronouns (less preferred she/her) and I understand completely that these pronouns are a bit hard to understand so if u struggle then They/He, etc, are completely fine to use! Tho I prefer the Xe/Xem ones :)

Now for the meanings!

Xe takes the place of He/She!

Xir takes the place of His/Hers!

Xem takes the place of Him/Her!

Xey takes the place of They/Them!

For example:

Instead of “He/She is hungry”

It would be “Xe is hungry”

Instead of “Please tell Him/Her to come inside”

It would be “Please tell Xem to come inside”

Instead of “This sandwich is His/Hers”

It would be “This sandwich is Xirs”

Instead of “They went to the store”

It would be “Xey went to the store”

Again, these pronouns can be super confusing to some! And even tho I prefer these, if that’s too much for you to handle then It/Its or He/Him is is completely fine. ^u^

From my limited knowledge, for your sim in question, I would say you need to set the preference for women to be slightly higher than their preference for men but if you're asking for actual numbers, I've no idea, sorry.

Hey, whats going on? Hope the games are going well, cause of all these characters bring me joy. On to my question now, do any of your characters in any of the games (Rewind, Hunted and Mind Games) have any set romantic preferences for gender, personality that the look for in a partner or no? I tried looking for a similar one like this in this tumblr but my tumblr is being weird. Hope you have a great day and get a lot done. :)

Ah, I... will put tails or ears individually on species in my worlds that don't look very human or not human at all, but after so many years on the internet and seeing what age group people tend to put ears and tails on mostly human looking creatures... I'm really uncomfortable to do so.

Loche DOES have some leopard and inhuman parts to their appearance, like their leopard spots (which are actually there! It's not just MC's Sight showing them, but that's an interesting tale for later...), cat eyes and pupils, pointed True Fae ears, and what their natural nails look like and can do!

Romantic gender preferences (characters that have them only):

Fawn tends to prefer women and fem-leaning enbys.

Alice prefers only women or other enbys.

Bryn tends to lean towards their own gender (they never cared during sexual encounters, and they're open to romantic situations outside of their gender, it's just their own gender they've usually made those connections).

They're all pretty fine with any personality, so long as y'know... you're not being a total douche XD. Some enjoy more shy or flirty people of course, like Blake and the Lucis enjoys how flustered a shy MC gets, while Bryn is all over an MC who is bold with them. You can romance them however you want, however! Just an example of how the dialogue and romance feel will alter a little.

Eccia has a history of liking only men thus far, but I hardwired her to be capable of liking women too if the right one was to come along. I know what key features she’d need but I am not going to point them out because I want it to be found out through live rp! It’s more fun this way. To answer you bluntly, gender doesn’t matter to her. If she’s capable of actually forming a true genuine relation with someone on a emotional level and it becomes sexual that is not going to be a huge hangup for her. The connection she shares with whomever it happens to be at the time is what matters most with shipping her. Thank you for the ask @calaglin-iarian

In Dan’s video, it had nothing to do with whether or not the people were men or women, so we know he didn’t set the gender preference as “both” as a joke.
