The perilous pink! Rose quartz is a really cool character~! I had been intending to draw some Steven universe fanart anyhow, so knowing that the new episodes will be coming out in just two days, you’ll probably see more from me.BTW, I AM SUPER EXCITED! Cant wait to see whats revealed >v0

A cute, new, pretentious gemsona! Meet Iolite! She’s much like Pearl, when it comes to showing off her skills, but she’s also very adventurous. On Homeworld, she was made specifically for entertainment. The other Iolite gems were stocky and very built, which made them perfect for being guards, or soldiers. This Iolite came out stocky and built, but built with a Ballerina’s body type. This made her look more like a Pearl. Instead of kicking her out for being “Defective”, Blue Diamond thought it would be nice to try her out to be a servant, or rather, a performer. Iolite’s expectations succeeded and Blue Diamond started making most of the Iolites performers after that. Since this Iolite was the first performer, she was looked up to by the others. Although, there was some hate toward her as well. The other Iolites despised her for making them be this way and not the way they came out. Months went by and they did the same old thing, until they heard about Rose’s uprising against Homeworld. Iolite decided to follow, as she was done being a performer for Blue Diamond. She wanted to feel like she was more than that and Rose definitely made her feel like that way. The war was rough, but she fought as hard as she could. Going to Earth was new for her, but she quickly adapted to the environment. She fell close with their fashion style and constantly makes many clothes for the other Crystal Gems (I’ll add onto her history later)
