You bring out each other's breezy, buoyant spirits, and that's a plus. You'll bond over TV shows, favorite sci-fi novels and superheroes, obscure philosophers, music. With your clever comebacks and verbal repartee, you could take a comedy act on the road. Although you can both be overly cerebral at times, you prefer laughter and light conversation to emotional melodrama. Eventually, though, you need to get out of the shallow end of the pool. They are both good at starting things, but set about finishing them in different ways. They get along much better when they accept each other’s well defined role in the partnership. As long as both are satisfied with their roles, their partnership works well and they almost always achieve the desired results.

Fixed & Fixed

Both signs could work hard towards their common ends. Any plans they have, they run them to completion to get the desired results. Both partners are stubborn and unrelenting. They are both determined and set on their goals. Thus both partners devote themselves to their relationship.

However, if they have difference of ideas, they would frequently be arguing with each other. They both won’t likely change their opinion, as that goes against their nature.

This is known as the King and General combination, where the Cardinals help to execute the general direction decided on by the Fixed signs.  Fixed Signs have immense staying power, and while Cardinal Signs struggle to complete their goals, they start them easily. Together, these two help one another both begin and complete their goals. Both Signs can be extremely stubborn, the Cardinal Sign is most likely to give in to their Fixed Sign partner. This is often because they don’t have the innate ability to dig their feet and refuse to move as Fixed Signs, and usually little patience as well. Additionally, Cardinal Signs like to show their partner that they are loved and losing arguments is often how they attempt to do so.

Cardinal & Mutable

While Cardinal Signs easily make the first move, Mutable Signs may be less comfortable being pinned down to any one position, thing, or person. Cardinal Signs, however, don’t demand a fixed stance from their partner, demanding understanding, loyalty, and allegiance instead. Mutable Signs readily give those things to their partner, as they are able to appreciate many different points of view. Mutable signs easily see both sides of any topic, and usually spend their time in the middle ground, which Cardinal Signs may find as a breach of the allegiance. Similarly, Mutable Signs often feel Cardinal Signs are often two bullheaded, and that things are too often “us verses them,” which doesn’t suit the objective Mutable nature. If they can come to understand these differences in function, and understand that they are, in fact, on the same team, then they can form a strong union.

+ Scorpio and + Capricorn, due to inconjunction, are the least compatible with Gemini. The two’s mystery and secrets rub curious Gemini the wrong way, yet often draws them in. After being unable to grasp them, or not liking what they find, the relationship ends.

+ Virgo and + Pisces, due to Square, are not too compatible. These two tend to be just as in-their-head as Gemini, and their mutual mimicry lacks someone to jump off of. There’s an issue of being too similar.

+ Sagittarius, due to Opposition, are okay. They’re revered well, however, like most oppositions they have their fouls. This is often the intelligence of facts against the beliefs of an individual, bringing issues of trust to the fore. How they deal with situations are not similar enough, but their priorities tend to align. They’re also big thinkers and adventurers, which is a positive.

+ Gemini, due to Conjunction, are also okay. They do well together due to similarities, but as with the Square, they lack someone to mimic and grow from.

+ Taurus and + Cancer, due to semi-sextile, are on the road to greatness, but not quite the best Gemini can due. Cancer’s understanding of emotions, comfort and capability of empathy is something Gemini definitely needs, and Taurus’s stability is something Gemini rarely experiences. They get along well, but friendship is often the best route with these.

+ Aries and + Leo, due to sextile, are even better! Their passion is like no other, and their matched charisma tends to bring beauty into every situation. Gemini may feel as though they’re too clingy, however.

Gemini and Cancer does not flow well. In this case, opposites do not attract. They are different not only in the way they are, but in the way they handle things. Cancer is all emotion and needs to constantly be in touch with how they feel, while Gemini doesn’t necessarily know feelings even exist. There would be clashing between them whenever they had to discuss how something made them feel. Gemini is too logical for Cancer to understand. It’s not that they would have a hard time reaching a consensus, but that it’d be impossible to even get there.
