Thoughts On:
♦ What I Most Admire About Them: His commitment to pacifism. Chachanji has a drive and strength and, most of all, willingness to resolve issues without violence far beyond others I have met. It is so important and when it fails he feels the ramifications of loss and life for those he knew not the better of. There is an empathy to give chances and the resolution. I highly admire that.
♦ Something Physically Attractive: I really like his hair. It bounces no matter what he’s doing. The slightest movement will make his floofy hair float around.
♦ Something Mentally Attractive: He’s very thoughtful and interested in the bad as much as the good. He’s comforting and interested in Torene. One of the few that always was excited about her.
♦ A Memory of Them: There was one time I had survived a powerful voidsent and was shaken. There was a dagger prepared in case the ritual failed to send what was left of me to death. He made it into a spade at his forge, then let me sleep there that night, reading to me until I fell asleep.
♦ Something I Wish They Had: I wish he had a partner. I can see he has the capability to be a steadfast husband and father and more.
♦ A Change I’d Like to See in Them: That he would not feel so daunted by his size and nature. It is someone else’s folly that they do not take him seriously.
♦ What I Think They Think About Me: That I am a good friend. Perhaps some pity, like he wishes there was something more he could do to help me at times. Otherwise he is so easy to be around, that I am the same. As if I am not complicated, or that he does not mind that.
♦ What I Would Do for Them: Very much! Hold him and cry together. Help him at the forge. I would go to his childhood home and make that hilltop house grow with a large garden and bring fish up to the pond. That is what I want to do most for him.
((Thank you, @gegenji - Few measure up to the long term close friend as Chachanji does for Jancis! Looking back I kept going ‘oh yeah they did this, and this, and this! It was a lot of fun to reflect and also let Jancis think on those times.))
