Good morning from our little heaven in Rhodes, Greece. ☺️🐠💐 The Melenos Lindos Hotel is the unique creation of Michalis Melenos who dreamed of building a small luxury hotel that reflected the intricate history of Lindos on the island of Rhodes, Greece. 🌿 Lindos, found 45 kilometres south of Rhodes Town, sits beneath an ancient Acropolis with a temple dedicated to Athena. Historically important as a trading town owing to its two natural harbours, Lindos is today a picturesque village with restaurants, bars, stunning beaches and crystal clear waters. 🌿 The Melenos Lindos Hotel was built in collaboration with the architect Anastasia Papaioanou and artist-designer Donald Green. Motifs have been beautifully carved into the sandstone facades while the handcrafted pebble mosaics and interiors are simply stunning. 🌿 In addition, the private antique and archaeological pieces collected by the owner of the Melenos Lindos Hotel have been incorporated into the design with striking effect.
