you know im starting to notice my main thing about the n7 + coolkidd familial relationship in forsaken is that i feel they're so...detached from each other even if it's explicitely stated they're family??

like sure i wont put it past n7 to be accidently a neglectful dad to kidd considering his upbringing and the abruptness of kidd's arrival but what i'm getting so far from the past and present stuff is that him being a dislikedhacker and caring for coolkidd are like, 2 separate things? that don't seem to corelate??? idk i feel like i cant put it into words but it's almost like coolkidd its more of an after thought in this relationship rather than an important piece of n7's behaviour and/or status, when it's clearly implied coolkidd caused a lotta trouble even at a young age and that n7 still worked hard to care for him.

i'm not saying he didn't love coolkidd but it's like, having coolkidd call him dad (father, mind you) and have an special animation/song in LMS it's not enough?? it feels more like a creation of n7 that went rouge and n7 doesn't feel comfortable with It considering him it's dad?? am i insane for feeling this??? or for this observation???

i can totally see n7 feels bad for losing kidd, and after seeing what kidd became, but it's also shown he was a hacker before having kidd, and kidd was found at his doorstep as a baby, and that the kidd had a whole gang of people doing the dirty work for him?? like theres so much going on!! and i still feel this disconnect from the family concept.

Yes you can feel unsure about being a good parent or have dissasociation with parenthood when it was such a sudden shift from your usual lifestyle, yes you can wish to go back to those times too, and i really wouldnt put it past n7's mental state to do so, but i hate to say that for me Coolkidd feels like a burden to N7. I feel this detachement coming from both sides because we don't really see the effects of their separation on both with detail, and we also don't see more on how their regular life used to be aside from the destruction and the despair and eventual loss. :/

idk. I've been thinking about em alot recently and rewrote a bunch of my lore for them, ask me about it if u want or tell me if u agree or disagree, i dont think i explained myself properly but i tried my best lol

lowk making my forsaken (HOTH au exclusive one) 1x Agender instead of solely Genderfluid since i dont. Think they have a concept of gender like at all. So like fluid with what LOL It dont give a fuck it just wanna get its shit done an go

this also goes for Telamon since she just kinda Existed or was referred to with pronouns depending of title (King of the Heights, They/it'd by the sword guardians usually) closeness (1x referring to Telamon mostly as they/she. Roblox with almost exclusively he/him) and the likes (not to mention theres no sex/reproduction differences for Telamonians, only visual paralelism to man/woman specimens from Robloxia, and even THEN Robloxians are genderless by default)

So these two just kinda Exist, i don't feel it's full on fluidity but rather the lack of, anything, everywhere. They just look or dress or are refered to in a certain way. Been debating this for a while since i plan to update my forsaken 1x character sheet at some point and ive been thinking bout it real hard

also change 1x's They/them to It/they (my twin just another me)

#geeckos thinking bubble #idk whats the take on changing a characters label from one side of the nonbinary umbrella to another #but i personally went thru a similar thing and still call myself nonbinary (transman to genderfluid to agender/genderless nowadays)#so i believe as long the character is kept in some sort of gender nonbinarism its alright #umbrella term etc etc etc #heart of the heights au #also pronouns kinda dont matter either but i often find myself refering to 1x with he/him in spanish since im not used to neutrals #something something telamon stole all the feminity from 1x all to herself because they're greedy #1x and telamon would go around naked if they could they really dont gaf

Making Telamon an intimidating, stoic god-like figure feared by many then slowly turning "good and soft" by becoming Shedletsky it's cool and all but personally i cannot picture Telamon as anything else than a younger, even more dangerously reckless Shedletsky. Like this guy throws tantrums by making blood fall from the sky.

You know i really don't have an issue with people making TwoTime more fempresenting or afab i just think they wouldn't be wearing a lot of revealing clothing like, in general, regardless of gender presentation

i think they're very modest in that regard. I'm not super fond of people drawing them in them skimpy one-pieces or really short skirts/tight shirts :/
