Octavian's clothes were tied to the onager. He didn't seem well, acting like his jewrely wasn't in fire and trying to use the heavy and difficult weapon by himself. Michael opened his mouth to warn him.
'Don't warn him'
He looked to the son of Pluto and the other demigod that was near to him. He ended up not saying what he want.
'No, you said what you wanted'
- Are you certain, Octavian?
The situation didn't feel right.
- Yes, you fool! I will be remembered as the saviour of Rome. Now keep them away while I destroy Gaia!
But if Octavian launch the onager...
- Octavian, don't. - the other greek demigod pleaded - We can't allow you...
- Will - the Pluto ambassador interrupted him - we can't stop him.
Yes, you can. Michael could do that. He just needed to warn Octavian.
'No, the son of Pluto is right. You cannot do anything.'
- That's right, son of Pluto. You are helpless to stop me! It's my destiny! Kahale, stand guard!
- As you wish - Michael imposed himself between Octavian and the two Greeks. He felt like his body moved by his own, like he wasn't controling it.
'This is crazy. How could someone control your body?'
- Centurion, do what you must.
The words sounded fake getting out of his mouth.
- A good friend to the last.
'Yeah, you are a good friend. You are obeying him'
Yeah, Michael was a good friend. He was helping him with his destiny.
- Goodbye, Gaia. Goodbye, Jason Grace the traitor!!
Michael watched Octavial yeel himself to the sky. He weidly felt nothing.
- Goodbye, Octavian.
Somewhere he felt sadness inside him. But the voice in his head was overshadowing everything.
'Now go to the battle'
...
Octavian. He let Octavian kill himself. His friend. His best friend. He just stood there and did nothing. Michael fell in the ground and cried and sobbed and felt hurt like never before.
Octaviain.
