yes it’s important that billie once identified as bisexual. he was the very person who led to me discovering my sexuality and accepting myself (i was so confused before hand!! i didn’t even know what being bi was and couldn’t understand why I had “crushes” on girls but knew i liked guys as well, so i kept convincing myself that i must be straight! then i got into green day and learned billies sexuality and thought, oh that might be me?)

but facts are facts. billie doesn’t identify as bi any longer. and that’s okay. he still doesn’t consider himself straight, instead choosing to say that he “identifies as nothing” (another clearly-not-straight rockstar who identifies as such is Gerard Way), and that should be enough! please, it is actually quite rude to push a sexuality on someone and put them up as an “idol” for that, when they don’t consider themselves bi anymore.
