are they close to any of their family members?
Ashton is incredibly close to his mother, growing up with his father in deployment a lot, his mother basically raised him by herself, resulting in the pair being extremely close, he'd do anything for her and it extremely grateful to supporting him in doing hockey since young, it's not a cheap sport to sustain he knew, and he already has a huge amount of money in savings parked aside just for her and her retirement whenever she feels is right to retire. Other than blood, he's extremely close to Ruth, when the Ryders took her into his home, Ashton had maybe secretly always wanted a sibling, being an only child, and the two of them have been inseparable, couldn't see one without the other, even when they compete in the ice rink for two completely different sports. Neylani and Eli are two other extremely close familial figures in his life, fundamental to his upbringing and helping him never felt like he was lacking in familial bonds growing up. Family never felt incompletely with all of them around, even if it broke with his father's death, his heart is still just as full.

would they describe themselves as beautiful/handsome/etc?
Ashton wouldn't considering himself hot, as some have told him, he understood he was blessed with objectively good looking features and he's really happy with the way he looks, always contented with it. He wouldn't describe himself as beautiful or handsome, but he'll graciously and humbly accept the description from others telling him that he is. To him it didn't really matter, what matters his how good he is on the ice, that's what he's paid to do. Doesn't matter how good looking he is, it's not like it'll swoon and distraction their opponents and get their eyes away from the puck.
what would their three wishes be if they found a genie?
Firstly, would be health, safety and happiness for his family, friends and love, as cliche as it would be, that is his ultimate priority, if he's allowed to give an example, for Aggie to dance again. Second, would vainly be another Stanley Cup before he retired from hockey for good. He rather he just wanted to be good as long as he can and burn brightly before flaming out. He has an expiry date, like all other athletes, and he didn't want to waste it. Third? He'd give it to March. Whether it was finding feeling in his hand again, or wishing to compete professionally or even in the Olympics again, or even just a lifetime supply of horse treats, whatever he wanted, it was his. And no, he's not gonna cop out with wishing for thousand more wishes, he knows that's not how it works, respect the poor genie.

what do they consider their worst habit?
Ashton's worse habit as to be overthinking and overstraining. He tends to wander into scenarios mentally preparing for the worst case scenario and often almost expecting it. It helps him be perceptive in preventing plays by opponents and often making sure there's always a solution to every situation, but it has also got him frozen into inaction, when after his mind runs hundreds of miles per hour on every possible outcome and none of them have any solution. On a lighter answer, he also has a bad habit of forgetting to eat sometimes, only remembering by the one of the day when he's home. At that point he tries to scavenge food if he had meal prepped for the week or he'll knock on March's door, knowing his neighbor always has some food his kitchen.
how do they handle being upset/angry? do they yell, cry, go silent, etc?
When Ashton was younger, anger often appeared in heated flashed, loud outbursts and using his fists to let his anger out. Gotten into fights and chirped a lot on the ice, but often for good reason. Over time, Ashton as a man has mellowed out a lot into a quieter kind of anger. One that's more internalized, instead of beating people up, he falls into beating himself up instead, anger simmering under the lid instead of blowing his top, but one day, even a simmering pot will spill over scalding hot water of anger and sadness.
