I never really liked GD's song "Black" until I heard the Japanese version with Park Bom. Her voice really fits the track and I honestly feel like she should have been picked for it overall instead of Jennie. Although it was good exposure, Bom's voice would have obviously been the superior choice. But that's marketing for you.
I always through that Bom seemed closer to BigBang guys ( especially Taeyang ) than 2ne1 girls. I mean she likes 2ne1 and give her all to the group but she was meant to be a solo singer and was a trainee with BigBang and even debuted with them so I always had this feeling that she was more comfortable with BigBang. Now that 2ne1 is over she seems to be all alone ( Minzy is gone and Chaera are always together since forever ). I’m not even sure Bom really wanted to be in 2ne1 at all, I mean let’s be honest Bom came in YG in 2004 she wanted to be a r&b singer not some pop/EDM/club types of song that 2ne1 did ( I love 2ne1 but my point is that it wasn’t what Bom wanted to sing when she came in YG ), and her best song always have been with BigBang or GD ( We belong together is a masterpiece for a debut song no kidding ), I just feel Bom never really belong to 2ne1.
