re: great big beautiful life. I really enjoyed how the couple knew they wanted to be together so there wasn’t much drama surrounding it? Sometimes it annoys me when I’m ready romcom books and the author is creating communication problems. Idk I found it refreshing even if I won’t attach myself to it like beach read.
see i liked this too in some ways but i also get why it was something a lot of people disliked about the book. everyone who said that the book read more as a mystery/fiction novel was right, because the romance really did take a backseat to the mystery of margaret and the ives family
