âWeâre almost there, promise.â Of course, thatâs what Nora had been spouting for the last hour or so. It was scorching hot out, as the coastline was prone to be. But Nora knew, she just knew it would be worth it. âYou said you wanted good pictures of the beach and ocean, so thatâs what weâre doing. Unless you changed your mind? Yes, he did want those shots, but at what cost? This was feeling like the end, his time drawing nigh. Soon heâd collapse in the sand and expire in the blistering sun, eaten by crabs and gulls and end up on some headline as Why Dumb Tourists Shouldnât Go Wandering Out. Oh, cruel fates... but no, he must trudge onward. He must get those shots. For the aesthetic.
âNobodyâs changed their mind, I just need like, five minutes and an iced lemonade.â Only one of which is probably going to happen any time soon. Civilization and ice machines are a long ways behind them.
