He seems to know how to corner her with ease--- and when she least expects it too. Well, corner might be too strong of a word but he certainly does his best to get her attention whenever the mood strikes. She doesn’t necessarily mind, but sometimes he has a habit of just pushing the right buttons to get her to want to take back any attention she had given him. This happened to be one of those times.
Rolling her eyes at what she deemed ‘his nonsense,’ the Yamanaka had opted to take that moment to make her exit before she found her shoulder being gripped by the Inuzuka as he quickly made her stumble backwards until her back met the wall and he towered over her with an arm resting above and adjacent to her head. Ino took a moment to collect herself before her eyes darted up Kiba to meet his own with a bit of fire in them. He hadn’t been particularly forceful, but he had caught her off-guard enough to get her to just follow his lead and Ino hated that. She was never one to let someone take the lead. It didn’t sit right with her.
Ino glanced up briefly at the arm resting against the wall near her head before she resumed eye contact with the Inuzuka and promptly moved to push said arm off the wall, making sure to place a hand firmly on middle of his chest to ensure that he didn’t fall towards her due to the abrupt action. The Yamanaka’s hand remained on his chest even after he had regained her balance, perhaps to keep distance and to simply feel like she had taken charge of the situation. Raising an eyebrow at Kiba, she looked at him with some amusement evident in her features.
“Listen, I know you can’t seem to get enough of me, but this is a bit much don’t you think?”
