Skeles with an SO who adores gardening. Like they have garden boxes in the yard, hanging gardens from apartment windowsills. They love to mow the lawn and do any form of yard/plant care. BUT they have horrible luck with plants. They accidentally kill their plants all the time despite putting hours in to care for them. How would the Skeles react? Gt (gastertale š) Lf, Ot, Ht, and Ft
Lush: SOs plants are gorgeous and thriving, and they have been ever since SO moved in with lush. They think maybe the soil on his property is healthier somehow, or maybe the latent magic of living with a monster is helping them somehow. The reality is that lush hired some very sneaky gardeners to save SOs plants from their loving ācareā lmao. Lush will die with this secret if fate allows it
Pepper: he thinks itās kinda gross that SO enjoys āplaying in the dirtā outside so much, but hey, it makes them happy and SO cleans themself up afterwards. Heāll listen to SO lament about the plants and provide snarky responses but isnāt really involved in their hobby.
G: he specializes in biology and medicine, not plants. So G isnāt the most helpful in keeping SO from killing their plants lol. He jokingly will hold funerals for them whenever he finds a new fallen āfoeā of SOs though
Green: he eventually learns what mistakes SO makes that hurts the plants. So when they look as if theyāre about to hurt a plant, if greens around heāll gently remind SO to slow down. He likes the plants around the apartment and is genuinely as sad as SO is when one dies.
Pluto: he invents a sort of alarm system that will beep whenever SO starts to overwater or over-prune a plant. The plant deaths have been reduced by 75% by Plutos calculations. He wants to make a soil PH and nutrients measurer that SO can use now.
Jupiter: he is guilty of accidentally killing some of the plants himself, but Jupiter just kinda quietly lets SO think they did it. ā¦ā¦ yea he knows itās scummy, but it probably wouldāve died at SOs hands later anyways.
Oak: he doesnāt mind disposing of all of SOs dead plants as theyāre sweet enough to get only animal safe ones. His chickens make quick work of all the ābodiesā
Willow: he puts a lot of research into gardening in order to find out where SO is going wrong. His findings include finding some pests in the soil, some of the plants needing more or less direct sunlight, and one indoor miniature lemon tree that was haunted by the soul of a vengeful old Irish granny.
Peaches: his job literally is all about keeping an orchard alive, so peaches gives SO the best advice for their own houseplants. And under his guidance, SO finds they havenāt had a plant death in ages. Heās the best teacher for this!
Rancher: at least 10% of said plant deaths are due to SO forgetting to close the garden gate to keep the cows out. Ranchers dairy cows adore ruining SOs hard work lmao. And rancher is completely unsympathetic. Close the damn gate and this wouldnāt happen.
