  The tension in the air was nearly palpable. From across the ottoman, Zion stared greedily at Amanda, pink tongue poking out from between his lips. A few slices of pizza sat between them, congealing in their own grease. The pizza was a masterpiece- cheese on cheese on cheese with chunks of bacon embedded in the thick layers of dairy, free of the disgusting tomato paste that polluted so many other pizzas. Kim had already finished her slice and was typing away on Amanda’s laptop. It was only Amanda and Zion now, with nothing stopping Amanda from giving in and committing a grievous sin involving that elderly cat.

                “You can’t have it.” She grumped, taking a swig of Mountain Dew, “It’s not cat food. Fuck off.” Zion continued to stare. Kim continued to type. Supernatural kept playing in the background. Finally, Amanda gave in, her willpower crumbling like overcooked brownies. She tore a slice of pizza free, and put it in front of the cat.

                That motherfucker took a little chunk of bacon and left, like Amanda was just some sick bacon-delivery vehicle. And maybe, just maybe, she was.

So I guess you’re going to raise, educate, feed, and provide medical services to those children you want to “save”, right?

Well this question isn't about that at all, but I do give of my time and money to charity to help those in need.

I hardly have the finances to foster or adopt a child myself at the moment.

But many other pro-lifers, or just people with morals, DO adopt.
