So many people (including myself) are disappointed that Gary/Aidan won't be coming back, and will apparently get killed off.
I understand. As I said, I'm disappointed too.
But I think people, especially if they haven't read the books, need to brace themselves. Not only are they likely killing off Gary, but there is a very real chance that one or both of the aunts will also die.
He's fairly used to not getting what he wants, and he's dealt with it, yet he can't help but wonder if that's only because he didn't want anything too badly.
