Gifted plants - Did you know there is a #superstition among #gardeners that saying “thank you” for a #plant given to you is bad luck, resulting in its demise? This stems from the belief that if you do something morally wrong, like stealing (or not saying thank you), the plant will grow vigorously as a constant reminder of the misdeed. For this reason, many people refuse to accept #plantcutting outright. Instead, the giver must turn around with hand extended so the recipient can “steal” it and ensure its successful growth.
