is a question we all need to ask ourselves once in a while. it's all well and good to plod through the humdrum of the ever dreary weekdays and drown our sorrows in discount alcohol, top 40 hits on sticky nightclub dance floors and a cheap chinese takeaway the following night of a weekend but sometimes you have to just stop and take a look at yourself and say why? why am i following this path? a man at my university took nearly 25 years to realise his life wasn't heading in the right direction, in fact it took a near death experience for him to leave his job as a builder and chase his dream, enrolling on a drama and film studies course, a seemingly small step that took him nearly 25 years to take. you live, you learn i guess, but at the same time the only way that comes to fruition is by living in the moment and doing what you want at that time.
so i guess what i'm trying to say in this garbled mess of a blog is just, be happy and know what you want from life, not what you think you should be doing, you're the only one that can make it happen so, 'carpe diem' i guess.
