We will watch a villain poison a water supply, drop a meteor, or wipe out an entire civilization, and our immediate reaction is yes but they are deeply misunderstood. Whether we are forgiving Reno for dropping a plate on Sector 7 because his shirt is unbuttoned, or excusing Kuja for destroying a planet because he served looks doing it, we are all completely delusional. And I am fully leaning into it.
