A sneeze startled the blonde haired woman, to which she looked over, setting her book on her lap. Her eyes fell on a sniffling Dandy, who looked terrible. His nose was red, dripping as he wiped it away, his skin paler than usual. She sighed. If he was sick, who would be doing all of the work for them? It certainly wasn’t going to be her. What if she broke a nail, or her hair messed up? No no no…This could not do. “You sick?” She asked, crossing her legs after setting the book next to her. Dandy jumped and looked at her before grinning. “Nah darlin’. What makes you say—” the foreigner then let out a sharp sneeze then, and Beauty stood. Standing before him, she laid a hand on the shorter man’s head and frowned. “You’re burning up. Get in bed. We obviously can’t do our missions with you sick.” she snapped, and Dandy gave a weak smirk.

  He kicked off his shoes and hopped into the hotel’s bed, where Beauty usually slept. He took up the floor when that happened. She deemed it necessary for her ‘Beauty sleep’ to which he didn’t mind. That woman was beautiful and he was damn lucky to be working with her.

  Beauty pulled blankets over him and looked down at the sick man. “I swear…you always ruin something don’t you?” She quipped, as she grabbed some money from his wallet on the nightstand.

  “I’ll be back later. Don’t move you idiot.” She said, shutting the door behind him. Dandy smiled to himself, sinking into the bed more as he relaxed, shutting his eyes. The pillow smelled like her hair, and the man breathed in. “I guess she does care…” He murmured to himself before drifting off to a deep sleep.

  When she came back, Beauty had gotten some soup from a take out place and medicine. She sat down the bag and pulled out the soup, heating it back up in the microwave as she glanced at the sleeping man. A small smile spread on her lips, and she walked over, feeling his forehead once more. He was definitely sick. “Wake up. I have soup for you and medicine.”

  Dandy stirred and cracked his eyes open, a smile on his face. “Nice to see a beautiful woman taking care of me…”

“Save it, idiot. We’re down a day on our mission.” She brought the soup over with a spoon and sat next to him. “Open up. You’re too weak to do this yourself..”

  Dandy did as he was told, and the blonde fed him, before giving him a dose of medicine. “Get some sleep. You had better be well tomorrow..” She said, sitting back on the chair once more, pulling her book open. Dandy smiled and closed his eyes.

  “Thanks Beauty…”
