I’ve been playing my Nintendo Switch for about two weeks now, and guess what? I’m loving it!

The only real game I own for it at the moment is Golf Story (I sold my Splatoon 2 digital code), but that and a few demos (for Project Octopath Traveler, Puyo Puyo Tetris and Spelunker Party!) have been more than enough to keep my interest in the system high.

They’ve also allowed me to experience a lot of what the Switch has to offer: its big, bright screen, its Joy-Con controllers, its sleek UI and its minimalist eShop, among other things.

A couple of weeks ago, I introduced a new series on my more traditional game blog. 

Each post in this series--called “Welcome to WonderSwan World”--will focus on and pass along impressions of a specific game released for Bandai’s Japanese WonderSwan, WonderSwan Color and SwanCrystal systems between 1999 and 2003.

Before I start passing along those WonderSwan game impressions, though, I thought I should share some thoughts on the WonderSwan system itself.
