Boldore indeed is so greater IMO too! But I think Palpitoad is also in the same field of those middle stage evolutions like Boldore is, I like it a lot more over Seismitoad.
Yeah Palpitoad is another great one, Seismitoad is cool too but it’s kinda just another frog like mon among many, while Palpitoad is more unique, and honestly really funny looking.
I love how Ash’s Palpitoad is such a badass, you would expect such a derpy looking Mon to have a derpy personality, but a serious expression on that face just makes it ten times funnier.

I just wish that its past with Cilan’s Stunfisk was touched upon at least ONCE after their captures, I mean they might be the only instance of two Pokemon owned by separate main characters knowing each other before getting captured. But overall Mofotoad was always one of my favourites in Best Wishes and I cherished every single frame of screentime he got~

Gamagaru stamps about in swamps and streams, drudging up sediment for objects humans lose in the water. It takes them with it and keeps it, not telling anyone else what they found. They rattle about when excited, and their polyps glow when they smile.
