In Voltron: Legendary Defender, the Galran salute "Vrepit Sa" means "Killing thrust".

Today I found out it also resembles a Slovak term, "vrepiť sa", which means "to thrust into", related to Polish "upiór" and Ukrainian "упир" (both meaning "vampire"). One linguist therefore claimed that the original meaning in ancient Slavic might had meant "one who bites".

Does anyone else, especially who can understand Slovak, see this coincidence?
