También conocido como Gallotia Atlántica.
Es una especie de lagarto gigante endémico sobre todo de Lanzarote y Fuerteventura, aunque también podrás ver ejemplares en La Graciosa y en los islotes.
Es un lagarto más bien pequeño, con el dorso gris, ocre, pardo, verde grisáceo o negruzco, y los machos tienen dos hileras de ocelos azules en cada costado.
