Black dials are always the most mesmerizing to gaze upon. The original black dial with gold gilt print and matching original Arabic numerals looks amazing on this 1940âs vintage Gallet chronograph. This 33mm. chrome case with stainless steel back displays excellent overall condition and retains an old nostalgic inscription. This manual winding signed GALLET movement was just expertly serviced and is accurate with the chronograph functioning perfectly. Iâve owned 3 of these in the past, but this one is hands down the best example Iâve seen. Itâs an early version with super glossy gilt dial, and completely unpolished case.
