What made you fall in love with Gallavich? Mickey's ability to love despite the trauma and Ian's ability to be kind despite the trauma. I think it's beautiful how they understand each other and even more beautiful how they are capable of doing anything for each other, and they always find a way to come back to each other. That to me is the definition of a soulmate and it takes my breath away.

How long have you been a fan? I started watching the series in early 2024, so it's been a little over a year.

What's your favorite Gallavich moment/scene? Fuck, that's tough. I'm completely obsessed with the pier scene in 7x10, it's probably the scene I rewatch the most of them together, but I have a special love for the scenes of Mickey worrying about Ian at the beginning of season 4 and the scenes of Mickey being jealous of Ian too. Oh, and of course the scene of them looking at the stars, when Ian says he thought a lot about Mick and Mick sighs saying he missed him (it makes my chest hurt every time I watch it, but I love it).

Who is your favorite character from Shameless, besides Ian and Mickey? Fiona, for sure. I identify a lot with her, because I'm the oldest of four siblings, with an alcoholic father and an absent mother, so that kind of made me love and admire Fiona a lot. I know how she feels and I only started watching the series because of an edit of hers that I saw on TikTok. I started with Fiona, but I continued and finished it because of Gallavich.

Do you write, draw or edit? I write, I've written a lot in my life, I started to write a Gallavich fic once, but I gave up. I didn't think it was worthy of them. I have two or three ideas for fics about them in mind, but I don't feel confident enough to write about them the way I know they and the fandom deserve.

Favorite type of Gallavich fics? Fuck, anything. I swear. I read everything, but what makes my stomach twist with butterflies and my brain addicted is definitely tropes like Enemies to Lovers, Forced Coexistence or anything where Mickey has to deal with his traumas. It's kind of masochistic, but I like it when the authors can put into words not only Mickey's traumas and his noisy mind, but his rude words and his sweet attitudes towards the ones he loves, he's contradictory and full of little details and pains that I completely love and when that's shown in a fic, damn, it makes me completely fall in love. Be it canon or AU.

Favorite Gallavich quote? I have a few, but 'You're under my skin, man. The fuck can I do?' is something I'm definitely going to get tattooed one day. I have a few tattoos of things I love, and when I think about them, that quote is something I'd ink on my body forever. Also, 'Not everyone just gets to blurt out how they fucking feel every minute,' 'I'm worried about you, I love you,' 'Partner, lover, family,' 'It means we care for each other. Thick and thin, good times and bad, sickness and health, all that shit.'

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself? I'm completely in love with two types of love in anything I consume (TV series, movies, books): brotherly love, anything where a brother moves heaven and earth for each other (like SPN and Shameless) and I'm completely in love with couples with difficult dynamics, with ups and downs, comings and goings, especially where one of them wants to resist the love they feel, but the other wants to show that their love is worth it even if they're both completely different from each other (like Gallavich and Delena, the two couples that have had the biggest impact on me in life). Oh, and I love making friends and talking about anything (from 'how's your life going?' to 'do you believe in extraterrestrial life?').

What made you fall in love with Gallavich? Im a sucker for couples that feel like true soulmates. That go through ups and downs and fight through all these shitty things but can never let go of each other. Like no matter what, they just *get* one another on a level that no one else does, and their love spans the good and the bad and the ugly and it's beautiful. They love so fiercely and always come back to each other.

How long have you been a fan? A few months... so, im very new to all of this. I just saw one gallavich edit on tiktok and it changed my brain chemistry immediately. Maybe I'll burn out soon but finding this fandom on tumblr and being able to discuss it here has been so much fun and such a good escape in a complicated time in my life so I'm enjoying the ride.

Favourite Gallavich moment/scene? Just one is hard, they have so many eras.. I'd say the pier seen in s7 is definitely a favorite. Honorable mentions to Ian visiting Mickey in juvie in S1, and the surprise wedding anniversary party.

Favourite Shameless character apart from Ian and Mickey? I'm between Fiona and Lip.. They are both infuriating at times but there is some aspect of being the older sibling that i definitely relate to. Fiona always with the world on her shoulders and never being recognized. Lip's burden from everybodys expectations turning into self sabotaging. They just deserved so much better growing up and it fucked them up and put them at odds but seeing them try and hustle everytime is pretty awesome.

Do you write or draw or make edits? I have written for other fandoms (and then done an edit or drawing to accompany a fic), but not yet for Gallavich. It's too soon, I need months of ruminating to start writing lol

Favourite type of Gallavich fics? I love post-cannon husbands day in the life one shots. Love early seasons missing scenes. Ive read a bunch of soulmark fics even tho they are mostly all the same but are always cute. Love fics of Milkovich/Gallagher family dynamics and external povs on gallavich.

Favourite Gallavich quote? Another though one.. Most things out of Mickeys mouth are iconic. "Fuck you is what you were invited for" "I'll rip your tongue out of your head" "You're under my skin man, tf can I do" "I love you and the sonofabitch is never gonna let me be happy so he needs to die, TODAY" "It's my job to worry, your my husband"

Age: Turning 40 in a few months (I still can't wrap my head around that).

What made you fall in love with Gallavich? Soooo. I feel like a lot of people have been in this fandom since forever and stuff. I did it backwards: I played the jedi games and you can probably figure out the rest. Came here for the actor, stayed for the weird yet strangely compelling show. A show I had never seen before last summer. (The algorythm in various social media apps sort of thought I would like it, so I'd seen clips, but I never really paid much attention). But hey, I made it!

How long have you been a fan?

Since... last summer, maybe even a a couple of months before that.

Favourite Gallavich moment/scene?

Season 5, at the dugouts. I know it's a really tough scene to watch, but it tells you soooo much about who they are and where they will end up.

I lack the knowledge for gifs and the likes, but I am currently posting my first fanfic on AO3 called "All of this". Dunno if I will write something else after that.

Big fan of angst and whump, but I do love my fluff and happy endings. I am pretty much open to anything: fix-it, AU, character studies, etc. I've read A LOT of fanfics since last september and I am in awe of the creative power of this fandom.

Which is why I am always up for recs and chats about fanfics (actually, it's why I decided to stop lurking and introduce myself, so hit me up!).

So, so many. But I guess "You're such a fucking barbarian" made me laugh out loud so. For the time being, I'm going with this one.

What made you fall in love with Gallavich? I think it was the incredible chemistry between the characters, and the actors too. Noel and Cam are phenomenal in their roles! I also love their whole story, and the way they always find their way back to each other no matter what. They’re soulmates.

How long have you been a fan? I can’t remember the exact month, but it was sometime in 2014! I started off by watching Gallavich scenes on YouTube, then got hooked on the show.

Favourite Gallavich moment/scene: So so many! Ahhh. I loved the dock scene in S7, it gave me goosebumps. I also loved Mickey’s coming out scene, I sobbed. The prison reunion scene also had me crying. And of course their wedding is my absolute favourite! It was so perfect and so them.

Favourite Shameless character apart from Ian and Mickey? Definitely Kev and V! They’re iconic together and separately.

Do you write draw or make edits? I don’t write fanfics, but I do roleplay as Mickey occasionally, so I guess that’s technically writing!

Favourite type of Gallavich fics? I love canon divergence, but I’m also a sucker for AUs! I’ll read pretty much anything as long as it’s Gallavich.

What made you fall in love with Gallavich? 

i’ll be real. i’m down bad for size difference. i saw an edit on tiktok about their hand size difference… oh, i was stoked. it only went downhill from there. i love how raw and angsty they are. their relationship and individual storylines are basically the antithesis of everything i do not consume (cheating, heavy angst, rape, violence), yet here i am. joke’s on me!

How long have you been a fan?

4 months. though, i did try to get into them way long ago, but remember learning about 3x666, so i didn’t commit to them.

Favourite Gallavich moment/scene?

the prison reunion scene will always hold a special place in my heart. it’s the first thing i officially watched (off of tiktok). also, i LOVE coming back to that night scene outside byron’s apartment. the yearning, the jealousy, the love, the understanding, the anger. they both look so good, too, so it’s a real easy rewatch.

Favourite Gallavich moment/scene? obviously, I love the wedding but my ultimate favourite has to be everything in season 3 up to 3x666 because their easy banter and Mickey slowly becoming more comfortable will always hold a special place in my heart.
