CAN WE GET SOME GAI/KISAME
Kisame was hopeless for Gai as soon as they met, and Itachi thinks it's the funniest thing ever (even if he won't show it). The way Kisame won't shut up about Gai and keeps planning out their next fight. Delightful.
Somehow, Gai forgetting who he is, just makes Kisame want him more. A man so confident in his abilities that he forgets who his enemy is? that's a strong opponent and someone Kisame would love to conquer. Itachi doesn't have the heart to tell him that Gai actually has face blindness and isn't doing this just to get under Kisame's skin.
Kisame never knew that he could desire being stuck between a man's thighs, but looking up at Gai with one leg on either side of his head in the middle of a battle? he's having feelings and they're not just for fighting.
Dates would absolutely include a spar. Doesn't matter if it's a first date or a hundredth date. Both of them want a spar and they're getting a spar. this is how their relationship started and it's how they keep the blood-hot passion of youth flowing.
Does Kagami care that he should not have a crush on an enemy nin? no. He gives zero shits. Does he find it a little funny that when Itachi tells Tobi about his crush, Tobi looks like he's about to try and set him on fire/ Possibly.
Gai actually does remember Kagami, but he never remembers his name or what he looks like. When he gushes about Kagami to his friends, it's always about his strength and speed. Unsurprising, since Gai values strength in the people he likes.
During one of their many fights, Kisami tells Gai it's time for him to leave, but before he can he finds Gai standing in front of him holding out a sunflower towards him. Something he has actually been bringing with him on every mission, just in case. When Kagami asks what this is, Gai tells him straight up that it's a present to hold onto until their next fight. That's the moment Kisami knows Gai's partially messing him with the whole 'i don't remember you' thing, and it's both adorable and really friggen annoying.
