🌈Is Miss Walker GAY or European?

It’s the first time I wrote a kissing scene, so feedback is greatly appreciated.

It was getting dark. Well, darker. The storm already gave the world around me a gloomy atmosphere. It had started raining about an hour ago, and from what I could see of the sun, it was around 18:00. Maybe 19:00. Regardless, the sun was starting to set, and the rain had thoroughly soaked through my clothes.

“Cam!” I turned around to see Skyler running towards me, nearly slipping in the mud a multitude of times, though I don’t think he noticed. “Yes? What is it?” I tried to keep my voice steady, which was growing more difficult when a deep feeling of dread settled in my chest. My imagination started running wild, but I tried to keep my calm composure. As he got closer, my uneasiness was put to rest. His expression wasn’t exactly cheerful, but he didn’t look scared or upset, so I took that as a good sign. What happened next took me completely by surprise.

He threw his arms around my neck and clumsily, but firmly, pressed his lips against mine. My breath hitched, eyes wide. All logic was thrown out the window at that very moment. All my fears, doubts, and inhibitions were gone. ‘This is happening’ I thought as I leaned into the kiss deeper. Allowing myself to lose my composure I tried so hard to maintain.

The kiss had only lasted for about 5 seconds, but it felt like hours had passed. Time was no longer relevant as we held eachother in an embrace, pulling our lips apart only to breathlessly lean our foreheads together. I opened my eyes and smiled like an idiot as I took in every detail of Skyler’s face. I wanted to lean forward and kiss him again. To feel the wonderful sensation of his lips on mine. But some part of me knew that if I did that, I wouldn’t be able to stop.

**BOOM!!**

The roaring clap of thunder caught me in a moment of vulnerability, and I slipped on the mud beneath our feet in surprise- unfortunately pulling Skyler down with me. We both sat there for a few seconds, before looking at eachother and bursting into a fit of laughter. We must’ve looked absolutely ridiculous, coated in the wet earth, soaked to the bone by the rain, faces red and teary from the laughter.

“W-We should probably go inside.” Skyler suggested, rubbing the back of his neck somewhat awkwardly. “Good idea.” I agreed, standing up, only to slip in the mud again.
