School pisses me off because they always have this bullshit assignment about an amount of books you have to read and you have to read that amount of books in this amount of time . That isn't teaching us anything !!! Stop this !!!!!! It just makes people rush through books to meet the end goal of the assignment , and internalizes the idea that if you can read a bunch of books , that you're smart . That doesn't make you smart !!! Oh you can read fast , good for you . But are you reading critically or are you just reading to get this assignment over with ? These types of assignments drain the fun out of reading and it did that to me . You're supposed to be teaching us how to improve our reading skills ! Comprehension skills ! critical thinking skills !! What are you doing !!! This assignment is ass !!!!!!!
