Over the weekend, Canada took a step toward gender equality at the G7 Summit, announcing a financial commitment of CAD $400 million over three years for girls' education in crises! With pledges from the UK, Germany, the EU, the World Bank, and Japan, the G7 committed CAD $3.8 billion in total. Read more here.

अमेरिका भारत के पीछ अब हाथ धोकर पड़ गया है और अब ये बात और भी पुख्ता होती हुई नजर आ रही है. हाल ही में G7 देशों के वित्त मंत्रियों की बैठक हुई और इससे जो बात निकलकर सामने आई है वो आपको हैरान कर सकती है. दरअसल, जी7 देशों के वित्त मंत्रियों की बैठक में अमेरिका ने जी7 देशों से अपील की है कि वो भारत तथा चीन पर रूस से तेल खरीदने को लेकर टैरिफ लगाएं. बता दे कि जी7 देशों में अमेरिका के अलावा कनाडा फ्रांस, जर्मनी, इटली, जापान, यूरोपीय संघ और यूनाइटेड किंगडम शामिल हैं. अब अमेरिका चाहता है कि उसकी तरह ही ये देश भी भारत और चीन पर रूसी तेल खरीदने को लेकर टैरिफ लगाएं.
