Jakarta, Indonesia. Current local time 4:26am.
Just woke up, got out of bed, around five or ten minutes ago. Went to sleep at around... eleven-ish last night? Currently on my laptop.
Haven’t been sleeping that well lately. Something feels off about my neck. It would sometimes, but not always, kinda hurt when i look to the left. It hurt about five minutes ago when I tried, but not so when I tried again just moments ago.
Had a thought crossing my mind this morning when I woke up. It also came to mind around Sunday afternoon but I forgot about it for some reason until just this morning. The thought goes something like:
“Stop trying to solve all the problems in the World all at the same time. Your energy replenishes yes, but even your recovery rate is finite.”
“Everybody each has their major concern, but you cannot be majorly concerned for each and every single one of your friends’ & fellow human’s concerns. You burn yourself out so quickly from being intensely concerned about every. single. big. thing that you have to be concerned about all around the World. So don’t. Just don’t.“
“Also please stop demanding that every single person around you also help you with your own major concern. As much as you may want it, as much as they may even be hurting to help you, you have your own problems and they have their own problems, too.”
Oh also: Tumblr’s “More Like This” kind of works similarly to Ello’s “Related Posts” thing, doesn't it?
At least I think it does this time, at this early morning 4am:
