So I've been playing Breath of the Wild for a solid month or so now and despite the fact that I've taken on none of the Divine Beasts and keep pacing around Rito Village and the path leading TO Zora's Domain, I think I've come a long, long way since my first two gaming sessions.
I'm no longer afraid to be out in the wild after dark.
I hunt stalkoblins for sport.
I use the Great Plateau bokoblins for parrying and dodging practice (and I use no weapons due to accidentally killing them)
My arrow aim has improved considerably.
The thunderstorms no longer trigger my PTSD.
I also hunt Octoroks for sport (used to just run from them in terror).
I like antagonizing the lizalfos just to warp somewhere else before they jump on me.
Most of the time I will fight a Stone Talus (have killed at least 3)
Use bombs for just about everything...
no seriously I go to Satori Mountain and just start chucking the bombs at the trees to get apples and durian.
my fave method for fishing
and apparently the palm trees can blow up so Link has been a menace in Lurelin at 0200 hours...
my other favorite game on Satori Mountain is whistling for Revali (the horse) just to piss off and confuse the Stalnox.
Oh yeah, I'm having fun despite also not being very accomplished. BUT I mean I have upgraded my stealth armor twice by the fairies and almost have my snowquill armor upgraded twice. I also think it's great the amount of restraint I have for NOT pushing Juney or whatever off the goddamn platform in Rito Village for the amount of times she called the place, "Booooooooriiiiiiiiing." Bitch I will throw you off this platform!!!
I also have a Rito boyfriend. His name is Fyson and we're going to run off to Tarrey Town together and sell arrows.
