â Fingers twisted through the longer tendrils of grass, never tugging or breaking, just lightly brushing through. An absentminded action and an unconscious means to keep herself grounded, perhaps. To Oriyana, everything was different, everything was new and everything was terrifying. Especially since she had, once again, managed to separate herself from the rest of her.. well, could she call them friends? She hadnât known them for all that long really, companions, maybe. But friends? She couldnât say.
âSick of you?â her attention turning to the other, fingers pausing in their movements, âI donât understand, why would I grow weary of your presence?â and for the briefest of moments did the eladrin contemplate removing her mask. To flash a smile at the other and yet, well, she had no real wish to surprise or scare. She knew the existence of her people was lesser known to the folk of this plane, after all. Spoken only in tales of wonder and seldom seen.
A sing-songy noise fell from her lips. One, that if understood, would be recognised as words spoken in both elvish and sylvan before she once again fell back into the more common of tongues, âI wish for friends, to make many while Iâm here. Even if paths may differ one day, it is not nice to forge bonds?â she paused, shifting slightly, her fingers once again lightly twisting through the grass, âOf course, that is, if you want to be befriended by someone like me,â
Disgrace. Tainted. Impure.Â
These were the exact words by the ruler of Elendia before he passed the banishment on her. Ever since, she was always alone, slowly doubting herself that she eventually deserved happiness once again.
Even when this elf wished to know her better, wanting to become friends. A simple concept she had almost forgotten. Despite not sharing the same enthusiasm, the other still wished to befriend her.Â
âIâm not even considered as a pure angel. Do you think itâs alright with you to be friends with me...?â Lightly shaking her head, Lux could sense truth and kindness behind the elfâs words, but would it be worth in the end?
