hit me with those fwb headcanons fam
i canât decide if this occurs in This universe or a different one, where things are different but either way, it starts in a bar. maggie is drinking and alex is drinking and theyâre across the bar from each other and itâs like gravity pulls them together. maggie, being a smooth motherfucker, buys her a drink and starts to get her flirt on.
fast forward a few hours and theyâve been well and truly fucked, maggie slips out before alex wakes up because this is what she does. sheâs a hookup person. she never stays for breakfast.
alex tries not to be hurt but it doesnât really work for her. sheâs NOT a hookup person, not anymore, but there was something about her.
later that day, alex is on a new case and lo and behold, whoâs at the scene? maggie. turns out sheâs new in town and just put on the force. so of course she would be there. of course.
and itâs almost all animosity right off the bat, at least from alexâs end. sheâs bitter and kind of hurt and how else is she supposed to react to seeing a one night stand at a crime scene? especially one that she didnât want to be a one night stand.
and maggie is a little confused bc she thought they were on the same page - that they wanted the same things and this is her first case in national city so it would be GREAT if this girl could stop snapping at her. and itâs bickering and sexual tension for a solid few days then theyâre alone after hours, working on the case and alex is tired so her inhibitions are down but sheâs still giving some bite and maggieâs like âok wtf is wrongâ and alex admits it and well, maggieâs never been against a little hate sex (though hate is a strong term). and they end up screwing right there in the precinct.
and itâs alex thatâs like âok this canât happen againâ butâŚ..of courseâŚ..it DOES. and as they get closer bc theyâre working on the case, their dynamic starts to change and this is all i got but im into it.
