Sara had been walking back to her current hideout, bag of burgers and milkshake in hand, when she’d started to pass an alley. An alley where 8 men were surrounding 1 other man who appeared to be hardly out of high school.
There went her dinner.
Overall, she’d knocked them all out pretty quickly - a bunch of thugs who thought a woman couldn’t possibly take on 8 men at once - but she’d dislocated a shoulder and taken a knife to the side in the process. All of which she would’ve been able to handle on her own had the police and EMS not showed up in record time. She pretended she was too confused to answer any questions, continuing that charade as they brought her to the hospital, intending to slip away at the first chance she got only to slam right into... “...Tommy?”
