Fuzzed Out, “Sitting With My Back To The Wall” (2021)
Seem to be a number of Sloan side projects bubbling these days. This is a new one of Patrick Pentland making a racket himself on everything but drums.Â

I’m sure I shouldn’t hear it, but there is a touch of The Ramones in here...
Retro juke-box pop from Vancouver based quartet Pleasure Cruise composed of Quinn Omori, Jody Glenham, Kyle Boucher and Dustin Bromley. With cut Old Girlfriend pulled from their Wedding Drunk EP released earlier this May they deliver a heart-felt gem of a tune with endearing vocals and fuzzed out guitar melodies. Check the track out above!
A blissed out guitar pop jam soundtracks the static flickering screen. We just lost our hearts to I Don’t Know from this London band who call themselves Ulrika Spacek. The track is pulled from their just released debut titled The Album Paranoia (order here!!).

And thank you to frompop2top's Soundcloud stream for this lovely gem! I was hooked from the very first chord.
A LIVE SET: Mac DeMarco - Live at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris
Canadian gap-toothed goofball Mac DeMarco gives an excellent performance of his strange brand of slacker rock. Just when you think he's run through all his hits, Mac and his band surprise again and again with a set of covers, before rushing back into "Still Together," the track closing out his 2012 album, "2."
