“Do you need a minute?” Ryukyuu asks, giving the pretty pre-school teacher a worried look. She’d almost been held hostage by a villain, with only a timely blast from Nejire stopping it.

“I’m fine,” she says, smiling at her. “Hardly the first time I’ve seen something like this! My dad is a pro hero too, and people have tried using me or my brothers against him in the past.”

“Oh, who’s your father?” Ryukyuu asks, starting to guide the teacher away. 

“Endeavor! I’m Todoroki Fuyumi.”

[ A sudden realization hits Sieg as he’s walking around; the fact he only has his current physical form due to the time distortion. And how he probably doesn’t have a contract, as he is now. He’s not sure how long the time distortion will sustain him, and he’s a bit worried. Not that he’d let on that he was worried, as it wouldn’t fit his appearance. However, it’s not like he could just find any old person to make a contract with - he’d need to choose someone specifically. 

It’s uneventful, really. No one seems to match the sort of person he would offer a contract to. There’s a few here and there, sure, but none that really stick out to him. Completely focused on this thought, Sieg bumps right into... a child? He’s a bit intimidating for a child, though. Luckily, the actual (fake) child he was carrying didn’t wake up from it’s apparent nap. He had too much pride to apologize, but he was kind of worried the kid would start crying, so he managed what he could without making it sound like it was his fault. ]

i. guardian

Although Maizono’s default reaction is to put herself into the passive role in any given conversation or dynamic, she has a hard time genuinely thanking others for sticking up for her or defending her in a tough situation. That’s not to say she’s ever outwardly ungrateful, because she isn’t! She’s really grateful, she really appreciates it, et al, but, really.

One of the the things that’s hardest for Maizono to come to terms with is the way she basically serves as a glorified mouthpiece for other peoples’ sakes, even outside of work. It’s just the way the idol industry cookie crumbles, but having to play the helpless damsel to some two-square’s hero complex on her own time isn’t that pleasant.

That’s not to say she isn’t really stinkin’ good at playing the DiD, though! Funny how that works out.

ii. insanity

Again, one of those words where her definition of it is pretty off-key. If we think of conventional insanity, Maizono’s worldview is really toeing the edge, isn’t it? But she certainly doesn’t think of herself as insane (or rather, doesn’t want to!), so her definition has to be a lot more generous to accommodate for that.
