Fuyuhiku likes to listen to Mahiru talk about photography, not only because he actually finds it interesting but he likes how passionate she is about it.
Mahiru often takes pictures of Fuyuhiko while he doesn't expect it, he got annoyed at the start but after listening to Mahiru say her reason (it's more natural and captures the person in the moment) he doesn't get annoyed much...in fact he gets his own camera to start doing it as well.
They're both the mom and dad friend of the group once Baby Gangsta warms up to the group.
Get ready to get double teamed and scolded for two hours if you did an oopsie
Mahiru makes him feel better when he feels insecure about his height, saying things like "You're far more reliable than a lot of men twice your height"
Hiyoko starts calling him "Big Bro Fuyuhiko" after she warms up to him...she does threaten him to never hurt Mahiru or else...
Natsumi doesn't like it but she tolerates it because she makes his brother happy, so if Mahiru becomes her big sister she will deal with it...she did told her that if she breaks his heart her mangled corpse will appear in the news.
Really they both get threatened to never hurt the other by a lot of people (Sato, Hiyoko and Mahiru's parents to Fuyuhiko. Peko, Natsumi and the Kuzuryuus to Mahiru), it's a bit worrying but it's also touching that a lot of people are this protective of the two.
Mahiru really admires Fuyuhiko noble and selfless side once she gets to know him, she knows he isn't exactly clean from his life as a Yakuza but she accepts it alongside all of him.
Fiyuhiko admires Mahiru's kind hearted and caring nature towards everyone (including boys) but also that she isn't a pushover and is willing to stand up for herself.
They're both also kinda a bit traditional couple TBH.
Mahiru tries to get Fuyuhiko to tone down the swearing and she manages that!...The catch is that she ends up swearing much more herself because how much she spends with him and Hiyoko.
She ends up having to take self defense classes and learn how to use firearms since being the Girlfriend of SHSL Yakuza can make you a target.
Fuyuhiko initially tried to push her away because he didn't want to put her life in danger but she insisted.
Peko started hovering over her to make sure she is safe, because she makes young master happy so she must be kept alive (also she is her classmate as well), Natsumi starts acting more protective of her as well (only because she cares for her brother).
Sato starts hovering over Fuyuhiko as well, he makes Mahiru happy so he needs to be kept alive (reminds you of someone?) Hiyoko once she gets her growth spurt does it as well (Also because she likes shoving her growth at his face sometimes).
Sato and Natsumi's relationship gets awkward but less hostiles after this, Natsumi tones down her bullying on Mahiru (and Sato) while Sato knows harming Natsumi too badly will send everything to hell.
Fuyuhiko and Hiyoko teach Mahiru's how to see if her food had been poisoned given the amount of times it happened to them already.
The two defend each other very instensely whenever the other one is insulted, their rip into shreds the one that did it.
