She had a bad personal encounter. Her boyfriend... actually the boyfriend we both share got mad and yelled at her, but we're not going to address the reason or what my reacion to it was. Don't worry about it. We're writing Kullyn out of the story. He's not important anymore, even though he's the one who's basically the only Neverending ambassidor. But the Neverending isn't really part of the story anymore either, so we can just move on.

Is he just looking at it? Can't he communicate with the bigger palace with it?

We never really find out about Jink's memories, or who the shadow-y elf in her mind is, or why Kullyn got so testy, or what's happening with the Abodean government, or what's happening with the Neverending, or what's going on with Shimmer and Rosie, or blablahblah.

I genuinely don't remember if any of this gets solved in SH, other than who her parents are, and at least part of what happened with her father and her erasing his memories. Probably not.

With all the detail in this image, it really makes the... keypad? thing that the doc is holding look really flat.

Ok. So... that means she has the right to own Rosie? Because Rosie seemed pretty convinced that the doc was going to keep her forever.

But no logs after? Nothing to say why they crashed back on Abode in the desert? Are we to assume that these guys are going to think Jink stole the ship fromt he Rebels? Or that she took them prisoner for Skyward or something nefarious? Just feels like a huge setup for misunderstanding.

I wonder who came up with the game. Was it elves or trolls, who were recounting their own history? Or humans who were recounting myths?

Either way, Firstborn Newbreed seems to be good at it. Or, better than Kullyn anyway.

Say, what's going on with Firstborn anyway? The Doma is dead, so who is taking over? She was the one who assigned Kullyn to teach this guy the human ways. Is that assignment still in effect? What about the other Newbreeds that the GodEmperor has? Is Firstborn just hanging out with Kullyn now with nowhere to go?

I hate this.

Mr. Honest and Open is now bitterly harboring grudges with his lovemates and has yet to bring up his concerns with any of them.

Mr. "Do you really love me" is coming to terms with him getting older as Jink does not, but doesn't actually bring it up with her. He's being an absolute jerk here.

And how and why has Tama developed an attitude? I thought she and Jink had some to an understanding and they both loved you.

This feels like a way to just break up the trio for no reason other than the drama, I guess? It's not in their characters, and it's stupid.

Anyway, we get to see Halm's trauma. Which also doesn't seem to end up going anywhere except to make him more sympathetic?

I was expecting something like Halm's brother was actually Cosmo's father or something, but that didn't happen.
