We are proud to announce that two students from MSc Media Science & Journalism have been selected for an internship at TV9 Bangla News Channel from the second week of April to May 2026.

While most people were waiting for election day, BSc Media Science students of Brainware University were out in the field, tracking the real pulse of democracy — following up election stories even before the elections began. From local lanes to public meetings, from voter voices to ground-level realities — they didn’t just study journalism… they lived it.

From classrooms to copy desks. From textbooks to breaking news.

Our MSc & BSc Semester students of Media Science and Journalism stepped straight into the heartbeat of Indian journalism during their enriching visit to the The Times of India newsroom in Kolkata.

Amid the hum of keyboards, flashing headlines, and fast-paced editorial discussions, curiosity met credibility. The highlight of the day? An inspiring interaction with Editor Sunando Sarkar, who shared real-world newsroom insights—how stories are shaped, facts are verified, and voices are amplified.

For our future journalists, it wasn’t just a visit.

It was a glimpse into purpose.

A lesson in responsibility.

And a reminder that every powerful story begins with passion.
