I’m planning some #futureendeavors

No, we're not that we are renovating; we don't even have our own home as of yet! Every time I daydream about our dream home, it always comes with "The List" of dream upgrades and must-haves for our nest. Then when I start thinking of The List, my dad always pops into my head. All the things he has taught me that are absolute MUST be done properly, and the things which we can get away with, and the bits with which we can scrape by. Which, in turn, get me thinking how to go about hiring a contractor because, let's face it, having know-how and hands-on experience are two very different things. Yes, I understand how the stuff fits together, but that doesn't mean I am trained to fit it properly. Who knows if this train if thought legitimately follows.
