"What?" The disbelief was there, though there wasn't a single fiber of his being that believed she was lying. Alex didn't lie, not like that. Not about such a big thing. In the back of his mind, there was that little voice whispering about what others would think. Far more for her sake than his own. While they had been together for some time, figuring things out, they had only let others in on their relationship relatively recently. Looking down and away for a moment, letting the reality of the news sink in, work was abandoned as he moved over to the woman. Surely his reaction would have caused her worry and that was not what he had intended at all. It wad just a little bit of shell-shock over it.

Grabbing her softly, one hand cupping her cheek and the other smoothing around her hip to her back, Matt pressed a kiss to her lips. A kid. She was pregnant. He was going to be a dad. Again. A soft laugh ecasped, his lips barely pulled away from her own. Matt couldn't think of anything else outside of what she had just said, all tasks for the day gone from his head.

@aerth​ sent an unprompted ask (Always Accepting) - Reiwa had been in his room all morning, writing songs and practicing for his assignment later that week. But he was growing bored and a bit hungry - though what prompted him to leave his room and venture into the living room was missing his dad. He never really liked being away from his parents that much, and since daddy was abroad checking on one of the many bakeries he had around the world, Reiwa was feeling more needy than usual, which he figured was unfortunate for his dad.

The moment he saw the blond man on the couch Reiwa whined. "Daaaad~" and proceeded to drape himself over the smaller man, cuddling up to his dad and clinging to him. "I'm hungry~~ and I miss daddy~" he pounted, golden eyes meeting their mirrored images on his dad's. ( for kise uwu )

He was in the living room watching television to try and get his mind off of the fact that Murasakibara wasn’t there with them. It sucked not having him here, because he missed cuddling with his husband and everything else in between. Although, he should have expected his son to come in and cling onto him. “Oof. Reiwa love you know you can’t just put all your weight on me. I’m much smaller than you.” Ryota said as he smiles at his son regardless of what the other just did. It was crazy to him how much he resembled Atsushi. He saw it in him so much.

Althea bounced lightly as her gaze darted around the small, empty chamber. She could hear the sound of the crowd chattering just outside the door at her back as they took their seats in the courtroom, awaiting the beginning of the trial. The trials of the accused Death Eaters had become something of a spectacle, attracting larger and more impassioned crowds as victims and their families were emboldened by the fall of the Dark Lord to seek revenge on his followers. Althea understood the anguish and the pain of war, and she supposed she could understand the desire for retribution, but her knees shook at the prospect that her husband might be one to suffer it.

As the room grew colder, Althea knew he was nearer, no doubt escorted by a number of Dementors as so many others had been already in the string of trials that seemed to stretch on for eternity. For the first time, she regretted bringing Vincent along with her as she felt the chill deep in her bones and her despair intensifying. She shifted, wrapping her cloak more securely around him, hoping her warmth might shield him from the worst of it, and pressed her lips to the top of his head as if she might ward off the summons of any bad memories. The Auror at the door who had hardly spared her more than a cursory glance before now cleared his throat to announce the arrival of the accused and Althea felt her heart sink. “Oh Merlin.” She breathed. “Quentin.”

“Dadda don’t go,” the toddler cried, clinging to Adrian as he stood in the doorway. His breath caught in his throat at the sound of her tears. “I want you to read me my story tonight!” Her watery voice broke his heart, just like it had the past three times he’d tried to drop her off. A story wouldn’t really be enough to settle the girl down. Just like the times before, his baby girl would burst into tears until all three of them were settled into her mother’s bed, curled up together to keep away her nightmares.

“Shhh, Peanut,I’m coming back tomorrow.,” he soothed, still down on his knees hugging her against his chest. She let out a loud, heart wrenching sob and dug her little nails into his shirt. It was no use, and she probably knew it. ‘No’ wasn’t a word in his vocabulary when it came to his daughter. She was the only woman in the world, save her mother, that could bend him to her will with less than a bat of her eyelashes. “You have to ask Momma,” he said tentatively, still unsure of how she felt about this phase the little girl was in. While he had absolutely no problem feeling her warmth from across the bed while their child slept between them, he didn’t know if she could say the same.

The girl tore herself from Adrian and turn to fling herself into her mother’s arms instead, begging her to let Adrian stay. He straightened and looked at her apologetically. “I can stay, Aurora, if you don’t mind.” His phone buzzed in his pocket to tell him otherwise, but what was another missed date if it calmed his daughter down? @auroraminett

Nevada narrowed his eyes concentrating solely on braiding the little girls hair. Clover was already three, soon to start preschool. That made the male in charge of making sure his daughter looked the best. By now, Nev could be considered a natural at doing hair. He clapped his hands together when finished, "Perfect! How about we go show mommy before she has to leave for work?" Nev scooped up Clover, pressing the little girl to his chest as he blew raspberries against her cheek. Making her squeal with giggles. "Oh, mommy, we have to show you something." The father called finding Doutzen in the kitchen. There he placed Clover down, leaning into Doutzen and placing a kiss to the brunettes cheek.

The Cherub hated to stare at Ash, but there wasn't much else to do while they prayed for Mother's arrival. Her eyes begin to wander until they landed atop his head... Wait a moment! That's what was missing!
