vampire  with  precognition  abilities 

she’s  been  able  to  see  the  future  since  she  was  a  child 

the  visions  are  accompanied  by  powerful  migraine  that  sometimes  leave  her  blind,  deaf,  or  bed  -  ridden  afterwords,  depending  on  what  was  in  the  vision. 

her  eyes  are  normally  brown,  but  when  she’s  having  a  vision,  they  turn  bright  blue 

she  became  a  vampire  in  hopes  of  ridding  herself  of  the  visions,  but  turning  only  made  them  stronger  and  more  frequent. 

she’s  discovered  that,  if  she  starves  herself  of  blood,  the  visions  rarely  come,  so  she  pushes  herself  to  her  absolute  limits,  that’s  how  painful  the  visions  are  for  her. 

despite  this,  and  despite  being  a  vampire,  dakota’s  attending  college  as  regularly  as  she  can

she’s  a  bit  of  a  slacker,  and  a  bit  of  a  stoner 

the  drugs  help  dull  the  pain  from  the  visions 

she  may  not  be  classically  smart,  but  she’s  street  smart,  and  she  works  harder  than  anyone  else  to  try  and  succeed  in  life. 

she  wants  to  be  a  vet,  someday,  because  of  her  love  of  animals
