Uncle needed some cattails for one of his Autumn Fair bouqet entries so I thought I'd cut some leaves while in the ditch;
Been wanting to try some handsy crafts so why not dry some for some weaving craft? God knows some of these leaves are taller than me so surely I could weave something big if I wanted to. Not sure what I'll weave but that's future Gato's problem.
I Rinsed them off in water, sun-dried off the water, then bundled them up to dry them up the rest of the way in the garage.
Hope they'll dry properly over there 😨 they'll have to dry for a few months before I can do anything with them.
