"Pfft, yeah, that no fighting rule sucks." Â Zeke brushes himself off, glaring at Celine as she walks away having released him from the bonds of her tails. Â Looking around he found that Quill was no where to be seen anymore, the Riolu giving a shrug. Â "Though hey, nothing says I can't do it if no one's looking, right? Â How 'bout you and me?"
"But no, you don't seem the fighting type," Zeke shook his head out almost as soon as he had made the offer. Â "I do have a plan I'd like to put into action, but not now or here. Â Games though... Â Euch, I don't know. Â Anything that can test your strength? Â Haven't really looked around at them."
[askthelifeguards] Sa'Fire@Zeke: "You sure love to fight, don't you? Don't you ever worry that you're making people uncomfortable? Maybe even your friends. It's just- not everyone likes to fight. Plus, you could really get hurt, if you try to fight the wrong person, and that would be bad!"
Zeke stood in water up to his neck, throwing punches and kicks under the water. Â The resistance of the water made every movement more tiring and strenuous than they otherwise would be, Zeke embracing the opportunity to get some practice in under such conditions. Â After all, he had a fight coming up soon. Â When the Vaporeon approached him, he spun around and lunged, throwing one more punch that landed mere inches from them.
A moment after holding that pose, Zeke smiled and drew his arm back, holding it to his side before raising his arms in an underwater shrug.  âShrikeâs used to it, we even used to spar some back when we had normal lives.  Seems kinda awkward now to fight with the representation of a God, so⌠ Not so much now.â Zeke glanced over at where Celine lay on the beach, drying off her fur after she had been pushed into the water.
âDonât think Celine cares for it all that much, but she tolerates it since it doesnât bother Shrike. Â Of the new guys, I donât know them all too well but did spend a while with Simon a few months back. Â Guyâs cool, and while he wasnât into raw fighting back then he had plenty of strength. Â Seems heâs putting it to good use now.â Â Zeke gave a nod to another part of the beach, where the Quilava was doing his own training. Â Fire wreathed Simonâs limbs as he attacked piles of sand, kicking up clouds around him.
âAnyway, guess what Iâm saying is, among my companions no one really minds. Â Maybe Anton, but heâs not part of my group anyway.â Â Zeke walked up to a more shallow part of the water, flexing his arms as they emerged into the air and doing stretches as he continued to talk. Â âBesides, Iâm traveling with one of the most important people in our world. Â I canât just be a load; with every fight I prove that Iâm more than capable of protecting the Avatar, even without Celineâs fancy magic.â
Spinning about on one foot, Zeke crossed his arms as he faced SaâFire with a smirk.  âDonât get the wrong idea, itâs not like I pick fights with complete strangers.  Iâm not that barbaric.  As for getting hurt, well⌠ It happens.â  Raising a paw to his breast, Zeke pressed down through his fur, parting it out of the way.  Barely visible was a long scar, hidden the next moment as Zeke let his fur return to its normal position.  âYou get used to the feel after a while.â
