you seem bookish and a bit reserved. possibly in a shy way maybe? definitely the type who'd rather have a couple close friends rather than a lot of acquaintances, and if you opened up to someone you'd be really verbose with a lot of interesting things to say. appreciates a good personality. cares deeply about those you hold close. hmm. maybe you want to speak up a lot of times but worry you might offend? overthinks things (or at least convinced you do) maybe a bit awkward in social situations?
“… sorry if that’s too assumptious of me. i’m just going off a couple things and just my natural feelings. so it might be a bit ambitious, but that’s what makes these interesting!!”
It’s not too presumptious at all! These are fair assumptions, and while reading this ask, I thought, “yep, he nailed me.” I worry about offending and I am a bit awkward in social situations, and a big part of my life recently has been getting over these bad habits while keeping the good reasons they cropped up in mind — not wanting to offend is fine, but avoiding it to one’s detriment is not.
I don’t know if I’m that picky about friends. I open up fairly quickly if someone wants to talk to me and I trust them, but maybe I’m more picky than I realize about who I will open up to. I’m very chatty if the circumstances permit it, but on the other hand I tend to become quiet or really nervous if it seems like someone’s offended, or isn’t quite in tune with what I’m saying, or whatever.
This was a cool ask! Thanks for sending it.
