I see them as a misunderstood group of people, and I see them as a valid community.

But sometimes they do things that's hard to defend, and make the fandom unapproachable.

So I just gotta ask...

Furries, can you please just chill out?

I understand that most of you are NOT zoophiles, but I feel like we aren't doing enough to outcast the ones who are.

And furthermore, it can feel lonely being a furry and a Christian at the same time since many people from both walks of life keep acting like I don't belong, just for that. As a Christian AND a furry, sometimes I feel unsafe in a community that's supposed to be welcoming.

And I don't exactly have a problem with at least most of the yiff art. Since they're anthropomorphic and pass the harkness test, it's whatever.

But since it's so common, it really makes it hard to explain to friends, family and others that this fandom isn't ALWAYS a sexual thing! They don't believe me when I say that there is, indeed, a SFW-only side to the community.

And I know I just said the yiff art usually doesn't bother me, but sometimes some of y'all take it a bit further then just putting big tits on a cat person. A bit TOO much further. Gets too extreme…

Again, furries, I love you and I have no hatred for you whatsoever. But oh my GOSH, tone it down!

So I’m looking to practice drawing in a furry style. I’ve been thinking of opening up my expertise and try to get commissions in the furry fandom. A lot of people have been suggesting me to try there. They think I would get a lot of commissions there.

Here are some practice drawings. They’re a bit wonky and I want to get more comfortable drawing animal features. As you can tell my style is kind of limited to cute girls. So I would like to open a type of open commissions: If you or someone you know is looking to commission someone to draw their furry character or fursona or something a long that line, feel free to hit me up!
