These Pizza Pinwheels are a fun and delicious twist on traditional pizza. They are perfect as a snack, appetizer, or even a meal. The combination of pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings is sure to be a hit!
Ingredients: 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough. 1/2 cup pizza sauce. 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices. 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper. 1/4 cup diced red onion. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder for butter mixture. 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes for butter mixture.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 375F 190C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough that has been in the fridge into a rectangle shape. Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a little space around the edges. Shred the mozzarella cheese and grate the Parmesan cheese on top of the sauce. On top of the cheese, spread out the mini pepperoni slices, diced green bell pepper, diced red onion, and sliced black olives evenly. If you want, you can add garlic powder, dried oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes on top. Roll the pizza dough into a log shape starting from one long edge. Once the baking sheet is ready, cut the log into pinwheels that are 1 inch thick. Melt the butter and add the garlic powder and dried parsley flakes to a small bowl. To make the pizza pinwheels look nice, brush the butter mixture on top of them. Put the pan in a hot oven and bake the pinwheels for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it. Have fun!
