#fun...not!

On my ride to school from my place, I saw my former classmate who was about to work in the airport.  We had a very merry conversation and we had an exchange of countries we travelled. It stayed merry...until we reached near the middle of the bridge over Gil Puyat-Roxas Blvd. intersection.  When the FX (or megataxi) driver and the taxi driver were moving forward, it was terrible.  The FX driver of the vehicle I was riding and the taxi beside it almost bumped each other. We stopped the conversations...then we hear both drivers exchanging cursewords to each other.  He even challenged the driver to some fistfight!  Whilst they fight, I saw 2 accidents on the bridge.  Hah!  Two or three cars bumped each other!  Then there's a towing car. After the drivers exchanged cursewords, we continued our conversations, but the merry mood was ruined!  When I had to go down, my classmate asked me to ask for the change.  I murmured to him, "I won't ask for the change anymore."  The driver still carried his anger over! When I alighted near Roxas Blvd-Vito Cruz intersection, the driver checked his FX whilst I saw a taxi bumping another FX at the middle of the road. When riding the orange jeepney, I saw a van that already hit a taxi.  Worse, the orange jeepney I was riding almost hit a pedestrian. These things happen because many drivers in this shithole called the Metro Manila Area are inconsiderate!!!  They act like crabs!  Batu-bato sa langit, kung tatamaan ay 'wag magalit kahit magkabukol (This is not meant to offend). When there's an accident, I give the driver the whole money I pay, though I must expect some change, but I'll make sure I ride with another driver aside fron that wretched one! Once you ride a public transport, you trust your life with the driver.  If there is an accident and you die or get injured, they must be one of those paying for the treatment and/or hospitalisation.  Plus, they will have to fix their car! Thank God I arrived in school alive!

Now, I'm just a fucking guest in my own PC. Ahh!  I wanna get a 3-System PC!  Just in case Windows (for drafting and 3D) fucks up! Need a Mac for the layouting graphics whilst Linux will be for some opensource OS.

There are many rituals a designer has to go through.  Not only classes are needed, but also assignments.  Moreover, assignments must be stored well. One of the most important rituals is BACK UP, BACK UP, BACK UP.  Many valuable files have been lost without doing this. Tonight, I just finished backing up my hard drive with a new hard drive, and that took long because there were a lot of video files, and it required patience. Sometimes, a little extra effort and patience can save a lot of records and files.  It is easier than crying over lost files and starting from scratch.  However, here's the catch: backing up files is no guarantee that these will survive.

Before, I had quarrels with Flash.  Now I have quarrels with Illustrator CS3. I wonder how did this happen, but when I do some tracing in Illustrator and when I unzoom rapidly for inspection, it does an illegal operation. After sending error report, the computer f****** restarts. How do I solve this without reformatting my computer? I don't ask for much help, but when I do, I mean it.
