Winter is a Kariian, one of @apexulansis closed species. Decided to put a body on him after making him on a whim a year or two ago. He's an eyeless boy with a bit of amnesia. Doesn't remember who he is; not even his name. Whatever the word for "winter" or "cold" is on a given world, that becomes his alias.
Winter comes from a troglodyte (or cave dwelling) lineage, namely caves in mountains. Very cold, hence the longer snout (to deal with the cold) and lack of eyes (a cave specific adaptation).

I think the only thing that could’ve made Promare better for me; is if the lil red accent in Galo’s eyes slowly started to fade towards the end of the film. As a kind of cheesy metaphor for Kray’s influence leaving him.
